 The ZyXEL Power over Ethernet (PoE) 2000 and 3000 Series consists of two models primary: 2024PWR and 3124PWR. Both switches are intelligent multilayer (2-4) Ethernet switches that provide flexible deployment options for multiple deployment scenarios, along with enterprise-class availability, resiliency and a redundant architecture. With full Layer-3 features, the ZyXEL 2000 & 3000 series is a preferred choice for network access deployments.

Utilising the unique 1U design the 2000 series is an entry level, managed L2 Fast Ethernet Switch, specifically designed for SMB or Campus deployments to empower multi-tasks in the dynamics of todays network infrastructure that require security, QoS and management. Sporting two dual-personality GbE ports and PoE the ES-2024PWR fits into any solution or network easily.
By contrast the ES-3124PWR is a high end, intelligent L2+ managed PoE switch designed for Enterprise or Large Campus enabling the deployment of powered network devices (such as IP Phones). With 24 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports, two GbE copper and two dual-personality SFP/Copper GbE interfaces, the ES-3124PWR boasts high performance switching that is capable of providing non-blocking switch fabric and wire-speed throughput as high as 12.8Gbps.
